Festive Dress Edit.

As the party season fast approaches we all want to look our best at the works party night out or the New Year’s Eve bash so where do we start.

I’m not one for a lot of sparkle but I do love a cute dress or two. When Silk Fred asked if I wanted to select a few of my favourite picks from their gorgeous clothing collection I was in my element!

In the past I’ve made the mistake as many of us do and bought a festive dress that I wear once, have a picture at the Christmas party and never wear again. This year I wanted to be a bit more selective and get a couple of versatile items I can style different ways and get more wear out of.

Silk Fred are an amazing online clothing company that have thousands of gorgeous pieces and are showcased beautifully on their social media sites. After lusting after everything I eventually picked out three stunning dresses for my festive edit.

Dress no 1.

Leopard print bat-wing maxi dress £66.00.

I do love me a maxi dress and this black and white one doesn’t disappoint, it has a cinched in waist that also looks cute with a wide belt to add interest. I’ve styled it with black sandals but I think it would look great with long boots or even trainers and an oversized chunky jumper for a more casual look.

Dress no 2.

Naomi lace bodycon dress £38.00.

This is the sexy but classic party dress that has a bit more than the plain little black dress we all reach for. I adore lace on dresses and the lace skirt detail on the Naomi is gorgeous. The bodice is a pleated chiffon fabric cut quite low but can be easily pinned if you prefer a higher neckline. Again I’ve paired it with simple black sandals and I think for the chilly December nights this dress would look great worn with a black blazer with the sleeves pushed up for a chic look.

Dress no 3.

The Exclusive Ariana £52.00.

I think this is my favourite of the three dresses just because of the colour! I had so many compliments over on my Instagram @thirtynineforever_ and when I wore this dress out just because of its stunning rich rust colour.

The high strappy neckline is one I always find flattering on me and in this super soft satin fabric it falls so beautifully skimming in all the right places. A simple tie waist belt adds a nice detail. I think the Ariana dress would be great in Summer with a golden tan but makes a nice change for a Christmas party dress and would look amazing worn with a black biker jacket just over the shoulders and even with some chunky boots.

I hope you all love my picks as much as I do and go check out Silk Fred’s amazing dress collection for your festive party wear outfits. I’m definitely  looking forward to getting all glammed up this year!

I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and a very loving and healthy New Year!

Much love Caroline xx
